Rampur is a small town which is situated in NH-22 at distance of about 120 km from Shimla. This place has the distinction of the only municipal council in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh.This place was the winter capital of earstwhile Bushahr state. There is a beautiful palace of the last raja of Bushahr state sh. Veerbhadra Singh.At bus stand there is aesthetically attractive Bodh temple which is recently built.
